100 Black Men of Macon-Middle Georgia
100 Black Men of Macon-Middle Georgia, Inc. is one of over 100 community-based chapters of the national organization 100 Black Men of America, Inc. Since 1963, 100 Black Men of America, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, has steadily grown in prominence as one of our country’s pre-eminent support organizations for the African-American community. Our goal is to have a positive impact on the mentoring of African American youth.
What We Do
Career Fest/ College Fair
The 100 Black Men of Macon Middle Georgia CareerFest Project applies a hybrid Team Mentoring Program, which follows a classroom-mentoring program model.
The 100 Black Men of Macon Georgia, has invested considerable effort towards closing the achievement gap in academics between African American youth and their peers in other ethnic groups.
Health and Wellness
The 100 Black Men of Macon Georgia’s health and wellness goals are to raise awareness, provide access to health care and health information
The 100 Black Men of Macon Georgia considers economic empowerment as a necessary step toward creating a just society, not only here in the United States, but for black people around the world.
